MICONAZOLE NITRATE

Miconazole nitrate is an azole antifungal. It used treating used to treat vaginal yeast infections. Miconazole reduces vaginal burning, itching, and discharge associated with these infections. It also used to treat skin infections caused by fungus. These infections include athlete's foot, ringworm, jock itch. It also reduces the red skin patches, itching, and peeling that occur with these skin infections. As an antifungal, it works by stopping the growth of fungus. Forms and Dosage:

Miconazole nitrate is available as a tablet, topical cream, vaginal suppository, topical get, lotion, ointment, powder, powder spray, solution, and vaginal cream.
