How does Dimethindene Work?

Dimethindene is a potent M2-selective muscarinic receptor antagonist in the form of a racemic mixture. It has a lower affinity for M1, M3, and M4 muscarinic receptors, for histamine H1 receptor binding. Its actions block the action of endogenous histamine, giving temporary relief from negative symptoms brought on by histamine release.
