Dosage and administration

Diclofenac potassium is available as tablets, immediate-release tablets, and an oral solution. The oral solution is taken through the mouth, and the tablets are swallowed with liquid, preferably before meals. they should not be chewed or divided. For pain Adults, are given a daily dose of 100-150mg, given in two or three doses. For milder cases, a daily dose, given in 2 or 3 equal doses totaling 75-100mg every day is sufficient. in the treatment of migraine, patients are given an initial dose of 50mg, to be taken when you start feeling the first signs of an impending attack. If it does not reduce the migraine in 2 hours, you can take an additional dose of 50mg. Diclofenac Potassium Tablets should not give to children under the age of 14 years.
