Propolis is a natural mixture produced by bees from shoots and plant exudates, which they use to protect the hive from diseases and to seal walls and cells.
Propolis contains twelve types of flavonoids , highlighting Galangin , Pinocembrin and Catechin, two phenolic acids, Cinnamic and Caffeic, and Resveratrol. Propolis phenols have interesting properties that have been extensively investigated, especially what has to do with their usefulness in the mouth and throat.
