Saccharomyces boulardii is used to treat and prevent diarrhoea, including infectious types such as rota-viral diarrhoea in children, diarrhoea caused by gastrointestinal take-over by bad bacteria in adults, traveller's diarrhoea, and diarrhoea associated with tube feedings.
