What is Etodolac drug?

It is one of the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) used for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, rheumatoid arthritis, or osteoarthritis. It reduces chemicals that are responsible for inflammation and pain in the human body. When such chemicals as prostaglandins are blocked, fever, inflammation, and pain subside. How to use Etodolac

Etodolac tablets and capsules are administered orally but it should only be taken on the doctor’s prescription. Ordinarily, if you are using immediate-release tablets, take 600 mg – 100 mg per day after every 8 – 12 hours. For extended-release tablets, take 400 mg – 1000 mg once daily. You should never exceed 1200 mg per day. For children between 6 and 16 years, the dosage varies depending on their weight.
